Climate Smart Gardening in Autumn

Join us as we head on a journey to explore BotSoc’s mantra to “know, grow, protect and enjoy” South Africa’s indigenous plants. This month’s webinar hosted by Master Horticulturist Cherise Viljoen will showcase how to practically apply climate-smart gardening techniques, using attractive indigenous plants and natural methods in your garden, balcony pots and indoor plants. Cherise will be joined by guest speakers Andy de Wet (the Aloe Farm, Gauteng), Sisanda Velembo – Stokwe (Parks and Recreation, George Municipality), and Mashudu Tshitereke, Horticulturist (SANBI, KZN National Botanical Garden, Pietermaritzburg).
