For Refilwe Malatji at Pretoria National Botanical Garden, conservation of nature meets the art of horticulture to show the garden at its best
We delve into the history of local botanical citizen science and how those roots are directly connected to BotSoc and CREW. We also find out from active iNaturalist members why they find recording nature so rewarding.
Located on the Cape Flats near the suburbs of Fairways, Southfield, Heathfield, Grassy Park, and Retreat, Princess Vlei forms the gateway to the wetlands system of the False Bay Ecology Park
Conservation is nothing without the conservationists. This career can take one from roles as diverse as fundraising and marketing for nonprofits to biodiversity monitoring of threatened species in the field.
