South Africa’s Plant Extinction Crisis

We look at plants on the edge of extinction, with an overview presentation by South African National Biodiversity Institute’s Domitilla Raimondo, with discussion and Q&A moderated by BotSoc’s Rupert Koopman. Jacques van der Merwe will present the City of Cape Town’s case study on the conservation effort required when a species falls below 5 individuals in the wild.
